The DACT

teen-relationship2Sheffield DACT has taken on responsibility for domestic abuse services in Sheffield following the approval of the Strategic Review of Domestic Abuse Structures and Services, by Cabinet Member Decision in November 2012. The DACT has been working to implement the Review’s recommendations which were designed to improve both the services and accountability. A new governance structure has been implemented with nearly all elements in place or in planning at the start of 2013/14.

The DACT implements local priorities in accordance with nationally recognised good practice by working with the Partnership, the agencies who provide domestic abuse support services, and the people who receive support, to develop services, and ensure that those who need support get it as quickly, easily and efficiently as possible.
