Free Domestic and Sexual Abuse Training

Action are commissioned by the DACT to deliver specialist training programmes to support practitioners who come into contact with people affected by domestic abuse – the courses are free to participants and open to men and women.  Some of this training is jointly delivered with the Sheffield Safeguarding Children Board (SSCB).

Action are also  running a ’Male Victims’ course on 13 February 2017 at their Central office in Rotherham, this will be a full days course  running from 9-5pm. This training will enable professionals to understand the experience of male victims of domestic abuse and understand the potential responses to male victims of domestic abuse.

This can be booked on using the above link to the training programme, there are limited places so it will be on a first come first serve basis however they will be holding another one later in the year.
