Alcohol Awareness Week

Alcohol Awareness week is an annual national awareness week led by Alcohol Concern.  In 2015 it was from 16th – 22nd November and the DACT held a launch which was open to the public and professionals alike to publicise the initiatives going on in the city as well as treatment services available.  Every year the DACT works with partnership agencies to organise activities to raise awareness of the harm that alcohol can do and ensure the message about where to get help is received.  For more information about alcohol awareness weeks, or alcohol treatment services in general, contact Helen Phillips-Jackson at Helen.Phillips-Jackson@sheffield.gov.uk or ring 0114 205 3671.
