Family Courts and Domestic Abuse

The Domestic Abuse Coordination Team are organising an event to discuss Family Courts and Domestic Abuse and to help us get the views of the people that matter most  we are conducting a survey of survivors experiences.

IDAS the local domestic abuse support service have kindly given us permission to use the same survey that they conducted in North Yorkshire earlier this year.

We hope that by gathering survivors voices we will be able to work with agencies in the city to improve the experiences of survivors in the family courts. Responses will be used to inform a report for this meeting only, individuals will not be identifiable and no individual responses will be shared outside of the DACT team.

We are keen to hear from as many survivors as possible so  encourage anyone you know who may be interested to submit their views.

Please can you submit your response by midnight on Sunday 24th November.
