Nitrous Oxide, also known as NOS or whipping canisters, are most typically used by young people age 16-24. A selection of resources has been put together for professionals, parents of nitrous oxide users and services users to give more information about the drug.

Sheffield DACT has created a number of materials (click here) to support professionals working with people using Spice in Sheffield and to support people using Spice. This includes harm reduction messages, key messages for workers, and leaflets for people using Spice giving them information on where to access support. These can be downloaded from the drug and alcohol resources section of the DACT website.
Sheffield DACT’s drug strategy for 2018-2022 was approved at Cabinet on 18th July 2018 and work will now begin to implement the strategy with stakeholders, partner organisations, and experts by experience. The strategy can be downloaded from the local strategies section of the DACT website.
Individual placement and support for alcohol and drugs otherwise known as IPS-AD is a new Public Health England trial to determine if intensive employment support throughout your drug and / or alcohol treatment can lead to a more successful recovery.
