Action Housing and Support has been selected as the new provider for High Risk Domestic Abuse services in Sheffield following a competitive tender process.

They will begin providing the service on 1 April 2015 and the High Risk Service will continue to be delivered as usual.

The service provided by Action Housing and Support will include:

• Providing support from Independent Domestic Violence Advocates for High Risk victims of domestic abuse.
• Providing workforce training for agencies on specialist subjects related to domestic abuse.
• Providing safety advice for those in immediate danger – all cases will be reviewed at regular Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences, which bring together professionals from all agencies to assess risks and implement action plans to keep high risk victims of domestic abuse safe.
