‘Our Stories’ is a film developed by members of the Sheffield Domestic Abuse Service reference group in 2015.

The women involved reflect on their experiences with different agencies and their personal experiences of domestic abuse. They talk about the response of Police, Health and Social Care services to victims.

The film is an hour long and is  divided into chapters:

• Living with Domestic Abuse
• Police Response
• Health Services
• Social Care Services
• What Helps

It is designed to be used as a training tool and guidance notes have been introduced.

In order to safeguard the women involved, if you want to view the full film you will have to:

• Sign up for a Google account
• Contact dact@sheffield.gov.uk to be approved

If approved, you will then be sent an email allowing access.

There are also some training notes to use alongside the film.
