LGBTQ+ Experiences of Domestic Violence and Abuse – FREE online training

This course has been developed for those working in organisations such as SCC who may work with LGBTQ+ persons who have experienced domestic abuse and those who support people to access housing including landlords.

The course enables participants to increase their own individual awareness, knowledge and inclusivity of the LGBTQ+ community positively shaping their future practice. 

At the end of the course participants will:

• Have an increased understanding of LGBTQ+ identities.
• Have the confidence to challenge assumption; of their own and others.
• Increased understanding of specific experiences and requirements of LGBTQ+ communities in accessing services.
• Put learning into action, and improve the quality of support and service experienced by LGBTQ+ survivors.
